Jan 8th 2016 Begins the basic Algonquin language classes overseen by Nishpe Pakunawah (Three Bears) Fisher Chief of the Black Goose Clan and The Veterans Healing Clan at Providence VA, 3 Bears a Seakonke Pokanoket has taught at the original RI Algonquin School in Providence in 1980’s. We are pleased to have him with us. Classes are free except for a donation for copies. Friday Jan 8th 2016 7:30pm at the MT Hope Community Center 199 Camp St Providence and will be the 2nd friday until summer break. We invite all tribal members to learn.
